New CLC Victoria ExCo

On 8 September, CLC Victoria held an Assembly Election Process and Formation Day. A new ExCo was elected for CLC Victoria, with the new members including: Bill Nicholson, Jane Phelan, Janine Hellard, Jim Finlayson, and Steve Game. Fr Andy Hamilton also accepted ExCo's invitation to continue as Ecclesial Assistant to Victoria.

We take this opportunity to thank the outgoing Victorian ExCo: Doreen Roach, Janelle McArthy and Mary Wade for their prayerful, inclusive and heartfelt commitment to leading our Victorian Community over the last two years. May they continue to be present to the blessings in the every day, living out their lives, in the CLC way.

222,000 people participate in Plenary Council process

As reported in CathNews, The Plenary Council’s Listening and Dialogue phase ended in early March, concluding a period of almost 10 months for people to share their stories and consider the question “What do you think God is asking of us in Australia at this time?”

This included a number of Vic CLC groups, which put in their own submissions. Also on behalf of CLC Victoria, Exco made a submission to the Plenary Council, which was also sent to each of the Victoian Bishops.
