Christian Life Community

Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley is known as a successful destination for settlement and integration in the community. Marked by successive waves of settlement since the 1920’s, the region is a harmonious community of Greeks, Italians, Albanians, Turkish, Sudanese, Punjabi, Iraqi, Filipino and Congolese communities, to name a few. Shepparton has four mosques, a Sikh Temple, a growing Buddhist community as well as having a well-established Christian community. Multi-faith and cultural diversity operate seamlessly in Shepparton.
