Christian Life Community

A successful 22 year collaborative CLC/Jesuit Tertianship Retreat Project between the Jesuit community and CLC continued across Australia from April 26-May 21, 2016 using the First Spiritual Exercises program. These retreats are a special opportunity for people in regional and rural areas to have an experience of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in their daily life. Jesuit Tertians from Germany, Italy, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Jamaica, Brazil and the USA stayed in the various parishes and conducted the retreats over a four week period. These retreats are part of the Tertian formation experience while they are staying in Australia.

273 people across Australia participated in the retreats which were held in:

Qld - Mt. Isa and Innisfail
  NSW - Dapto
  Vic - Bendigo and Geelong
SA - Whyalla and Murray Bridge
  WA - Bunbury
  NT - Darwin

For those wanting 'more' after the retreat the National CLC team provided a new five week Program for Life, which has been very well received in the parishes.
